Role Overview

In this pivotal leadership role based in San Francisco, CA, you'll oversee PagerDuty's comprehensive portfolio of enterprise financial applications, managing critical process areas including Order to Cash/Order to Revenue, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report.

As a people-focused leader, you'll partner cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, GL Accounting, Tax & Treasury, Procurement, FP&A, and Operations teams to deliver technical solutions that fuel business growth. This position requires strong project leadership, exceptional facilitation skills, and the ability to champion process improvements in a fast-scaling SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities

• Set Strategic Vision: Define Finance applications product vision and multi-quarter roadmaps aligning technology with Finance and business objectives. Oversee complete lifecycle from requirements gathering through launch and ongoing support.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of IT product managers and system administrators. Focus on career growth across diverse financial platforms while cultivating continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Project Management: Spearhead large-scale cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units, expertly managing priorities and leveraging finance stakeholder relationships to deliver complex projects successfully.
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Utilize superior facilitation skills for meetings, workshops, and requirements sessions. Communicate effectively by speaking finance's language, translating technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Roadmap Planning: Create comprehensive multi-year roadmaps implementing Agile/SCRUM processes to optimize team efficiency and align with strategic fiscal priorities.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate on strategies for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report systems, driving automation and efficiency gains.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure systems meet financial reporting standards, SOX compliance, and internal control requirements.
• Change Leadership: Champion organizational change through strong stakeholder partnerships and proven change management practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this senior leadership role, candidates should demonstrate:

• 10+ years in finance IT systems with leadership experience in enterprise applications
• Proven success managing ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
• Deep knowledge of financial processes and stakeholder management across Finance functions
• 5+ years leading technical teams with emphasis on professional development
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, Jira, and cross-functional project delivery
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for executive-level interactions
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; MBA or advanced certifications preferred
• Experience thriving in hybrid environments with regular office collaboration

Salary & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Total compensation for this Sr. Manager role typically ranges from $180,000 - $240,000 USD annually, including base salary, performance bonuses, and equity. Exact figures depend on experience and location.
