Position Summary

Join Sonoco as a Palletizer Operator in DeForest, WI. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll perform various manual or mechanical product functions by operating and adjusting production equipment to meet customer specifications and troubleshoot as required. Enjoy a competitive wage of $26.70 per hour plus shift differential on a 4-on-4-off schedule with 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6am).

Key Responsibilities

• Set up new jobs and operate various palletizers/de-palletizers.
• Monitor and report quality of manufactured product, making incremental process adjustments as required.
• Inspect product throughout the shift and notify mechanic or shift supervisor of any quality defects.
• Stand, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, walk, traverse stairs, and perform repetitive finger/hand/wrist movements for extended periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience and/or training.
• Able to communicate effectively (read, write, comprehend) in basic English.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written work instructions.
• Able to work the assigned schedule and overtime as required.
