For Siemens Turkey's R&D Department, we are looking for a Part-time Working Student with Disabilities to be located in Kartal who will support software development projects. 

What will you do:

  • Being involved in the software development life cycle as a Software Developer, Test Automation Engineer, Cybersecurity Expert, or DevOps Engineer
  • Working well in a multi-site, international software development team
  • Contribute to real projects and support various departments based on your academic background and interests.
  • Gain insights into the corporate world and enhance your technical, analytical, and professional abilities.
  • Collaborate with a team with varied strengths and connect with industry guides.

What do you need to qualify for this job?

  • 2nd, 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or MS or PhD student in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, and Automation & Control Engineering.  
  • Minimum 40% disability report, will be registered with İŞKUR.
  • Minimum 2,5 days/week availability is expected (partly remote working).
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Willing to follow software engineering and/or test automation engineering or DevOps engineering or cybersecurity expert career path. 
  • Eager to learn Industrial Automation domain know-how and Siemens-specific technologies.
  • Knowledge of a programming language is a must(E.g. Java, C, C++, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of source control tools is a plus (e.g. SVN, Git, etc)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools is a plus (e.g. Anthill, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of UI test automation frameworks is a plus (e.g. Selenium)
  • Knowledge of AI topics is a plus
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
