As People Associate Manager at PepsiCo in New Cairo, Egypt, you will be the HR backbone for your team, blending operational excellence with strategic leadership. This full-time role demands a proactive HR professional who champions employee needs while aligning people strategies with business goals. You will execute core HR functions, advocate for PepsiCo values, and lead change to build a high-performing, inclusive team in the dynamic food and beverage sector.
Your role spans three pillars: Effective Basics, Employee Champion, and Strategic Management & Change Leadership.
Implement communication policies for seamless information flow. Manage Compensation & Benefits (C&B) programs compliant with PepsiCo standards and Egyptian regulations. Handle personnel administration, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and performance feedback. Coach on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives, ensure labor relations support business growth, and drive people systems like Performance Development Reviews (PDRs), Development Discussion Cards (DDCs), and Management Quality Performance Indicators (MQPIs).
Advocate for fair treatment and PepsiCo values. Create positive, safe work environments fostering trust and teamwork. Support training, deliver Organization Health Survey (OHS) action plans, and conduct sensing via 1:1s. Resolve manager-subordinate issues as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), execute recognition programs, and coach on HR tools sustainment.
Provide executive coaching, develop aligned people strategies, and rally teams around a shared vision. Leverage communications for alignment, build manager capabilities, involve Centers of Excellence (CEs), analyze capability gaps, and drive a values-centered culture through simplification and proactive issue sensing.
To succeed, you need a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the food and beverage or manufacturing sector in Egypt. Deep knowledge of local labor laws, compensation benchmarking, and HR systems is essential. Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills are key, along with fluency in English and Arabic. Proven ability to handle employee relations, drive performance management, and lead change in multicultural teams will set you apart.
