Role Overview

The People Business Partner - Channo Plant HR Executive role is a pivotal position within PepsiCo's People Experience & Operations team. Based at the Channo Plant in Patiala, Punjab, this role focuses on delivering exceptional employee experiences across the entire employee lifecycle, from hire to retire. You will drive on-ground HR processes with clear KPIs and service levels, supporting the India Business Unit's digitization agenda and seamless employee services.   • Manage onboarding for plant employees, ensuring adherence to H2O processes, Day 1, and Functional Onboarding modules on myLearning platform.
  • Handle contractual hiring in partnership with departments based on business needs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries on policies, benefits, payroll, schedules, and lifecycle processes.
  • Drive learning administration, training facilitation, tracking, and closure for targeted employee groups.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives like Dil Se, Plant Days, and OHS programs, including communications and surveys.
  • Champion BU digitization efforts, particularly T&A for PCI and NPCI workforce, Schoox, and myServices workflows; identify streamlining opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with central, state, and local regulations, including AIB audits, and maintain confidential employee files.
  • Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Welfare teams for training, certifications, and clearances.
  • Coordinate CoE-led interventions like performance management (PMP), surveys, and core people processes for frontline employees.
  • Provide logistics for HR events, training sessions, CoC training, and rewards programs.
  • Offer administrative support to plant leadership, manage reporting, and drive process enhancements.
