PepsiCo is a global leader in the food and beverage industry, dedicated to creating smiles with every sip and every bite. With iconic brands that delight consumers worldwide, PepsiCo is committed to sustainable practices, community impact, and fostering an inclusive workplace. In Canada, PepsiCo Beverages operates state-of-the-art facilities, including our Delta, British Columbia location, where innovation meets tradition in producing beloved beverages. Our success is driven by talented teams who bring unique perspectives, curiosity, and drive to everything we do. Joining PepsiCo means becoming part of a company that values your contributions and invests in your growth.

Role Overview

The PepsiCo Beverages Electrician position in Delta, British Columbia, is a full-time opportunity for a skilled Red Seal licensed industrial electrician ready to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves afternoons and nights shifts across 7 days, offering a competitive pay rate of $50.48 per hour, plus premiums for night ($0.95/hr) and afternoon ($0.80/hr) shifts. You'll work with modern diagnostic technology in a clean, safe facility, focusing on high-speed packaging equipment. We prioritize attitude and teamwork, providing comprehensive training to ensure your success. If you're self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and passionate about safety and quality, this is your chance to power PepsiCo's operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a PepsiCo Beverages Electrician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining peak performance across our production lines. Responsibilities include applying deep knowledge of processes, equipment, and systems to achieve challenging safety, line utilization, reliability engineering (RE), and quality standards. You'll ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, safely operate equipment per established procedures, and complete preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate part entry and closure via the INFOR system. Expect to troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment, participate actively in line improvement meetings and projects, and maintain all machinery in satisfactory condition for safe operation. Additional tasks as directed by managers will support our commitment to operational excellence.

Daily Operations

Daily duties emphasize productivity in a dynamic environment: conducting LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, interpreting process control data, and adhering to quality standards like GMPs, CCPs, and oPRPs. Your ability to multi-task and demonstrate urgency will be key to minimizing downtime and maximizing output.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a PepsiCo Electrician, you must hold a Red Seal licensed industrial electrician certification, with a Controls Technician Certificate being advantageous. Basic computer competency, including INFOR and light programming, is essential, alongside proven skills in troubleshooting high-speed packaging equipment. You need forklift and work-at-height certifications (or willingness to obtain them), proficiency with power tools, high numeracy for record-keeping, and strong mechanical aptitude. Problem-solving prowess, LOTO procedure knowledge, and familiarity with food safety systems are non-negotiable. Physically, you'll lift/carry/pull over 50lbs occasionally, performing standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping. Excellent attendance, self-motivation, organization, and a team-oriented attitude complete the profile.

Benefits & Perks

PepsiCo offers an exceptional compensation package designed to reward your hard work. Start with $50.48 per hour, boosted by shift premiums, an annual tool allowance of $650, and a uniform allowance of $230. Enjoy immediate eligibility for comprehensive Health and Dental Benefits, Pension, and matched RSP plans. Paid vacation time, a commitment to safety with an outstanding in-house record, and a modern, clean work environment set us apart. Access industry-leading diagnostic technology, power tools, and ongoing technical/professional training to sharpen your skills. These perks create a supportive culture where you can focus on excellence.

Career Growth

At PepsiCo, we hire for attitude and train for skills, opening doors to long-term advancement. This Electrician role provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment, fostering expertise in industrial automation and controls. Participate in development programs, line improvement projects, and cross-training opportunities.
