Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet these essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Certified Heavy Equipment Technician in Commercial Transport, Heavy Duty, or Automotive / 310T Journeyperson.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with preventative maintenance on class 6/8 trucks and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to provide your own professional tool set.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Physical demands include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 100lbs, frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and grasping in a multi-temperature environment. You'll also need flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime. Assets include experience with propane/electric forklifts, hydraulic liftgates, agriculture equipment, reefers, vans, pickups, cars, welding, electrical work, and a Class 1/AZ License.
