As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of PepsiCo, acting as an ambassador at every account. Your core duties include establishing and maintaining positive relationships with primary contacts, ensuring accurate and timely product deliveries, and unloading as directed by customers. You'll process invoices, handle daily account settlements, stock and rotate products in diverse environments, and merchandise to company standards. Building eye-catching displays, setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners, and completing all paperwork accurately are essential. Safety is paramount—perform all tasks responsibly, complying with laws and transportation regulations, even in varying weather and road conditions.
This role requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repetitively over 8-10 hour shifts, maneuvering large loads with agility, flexibility, and strength using various aids. Expect exposure to weather extremes and operating equipment safely in poor conditions.
To succeed, you need excellent people skills and customer-handling experience. A High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or equivalent is required, along with a valid Class 1 driver’s license in good standing and a safe driving record. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is essential, and you must be physically fit for demanding tasks. Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision are key.
