Role Overview: Principal Product Designer, Core AI

As a Principal Product Designer within Perk’s Core AI team, you will be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into our product. Your mission is to ensure that AI is implemented in a way that is not only trustworthy and intuitive but also genuinely beneficial for our users. This role is a hands-on, individual contributor position with significant cross-functional influence, giving you the opportunity to drive meaningful change.

The Core AI team is responsible for:

• Developing foundational AI capabilities and patterns that can be applied across the entire Perk platform.
• Creating AI-powered product experiences that improve user outcomes and reduce shadow work.
• Setting high standards for the design, evaluation, and delivery of AI features, emphasizing craft, safety, usability, measurement, and responsible use.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data/ML, and Design leadership to transform abstract ideas into concrete solutions. Your expertise will help teams move from theoretical possibilities to well-defined problems, robust interaction models, validated solutions, and polished user experiences.

A Day in the Life of a Principal Product Designer at Perk
