About Perk

Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is revolutionizing travel and spend management. We empower businesses to streamline their operations, automating everything from travel bookings to expense reports. By eliminating time-consuming manual tasks, we enable employees to focus on what truly matters: impactful work.

Trusted by over 10,000 companies worldwide, including industry leaders like Wise, On Running, and Fabletics, we are addressing the staggering $1.7 trillion problem of lost productivity due to shadow work. Our mission is to unlock the potential within every organization by optimizing how people experience work.

Founded in 2015, Perk has rapidly grown into a global company with over 1,800 employees across 12 offices, including our headquarters in London and Boston. We foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and exceptional customer service. If you're passionate about shaping the future of work, we encourage you to join our team.

Role Overview: Workplace Experience Specialist

As a Workplace Experience Specialist based in our vibrant Zurich office, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining a world-class work environment for our employees. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Zurich hub, while also providing support to our smaller hubs in Amsterdam, Munich, Berlin, and Vienna.

This is more than just a facilities management role. We're looking for someone who is passionate about employee experience and has a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You'll be empowered to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the overall workplace environment.

A Day in the Life

Here's a glimpse into what a typical day might look like:

  • Morning: Start your day by walking through the Zurich office, ensuring everything is clean, well-stocked, and functioning properly. Address any immediate issues, such as a broken coffee machine or a malfunctioning printer.
  • Mid-day: Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance or repairs. Manage deliveries and ensure the office is stocked with supplies. Plan and execute employee events, such as team lunches or holiday celebrations.
  • Afternoon: Respond to employee inquiries and requests related to workplace issues. Work on projects to improve the office environment, such as redesigning a common area or implementing a new sustainability initiative.
  • Ongoing: Regular communication with the Workplace Real Estate Manager and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives. Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
