Role Overview
The Asset Protection & Safety Business Partner (APSBP) for the Northeast region, based in Phoenix, AZ, drives strategies to minimize shrink, enhance safety culture, and ensure compliance across stores and facilities. This field-based role involves 60%+ travel, crisis leadership as Incident Commander, and collaboration with RVPs, field teams, and external partners. Work remotely from home when not traveling, with periodic Home Office visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Support districts as primary AP&S partner, aligning with business goals.
- Lead crisis response, investigations, and compliance audits.
- Analyze shrink/safety data for actionable insights and store improvements.
- Build law enforcement relationships and deliver team training.
- Contribute to special projects under Senior AP&S Manager.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3-5+ years in loss prevention, safety, or retail AP, with leadership in multi-unit settings. Key competencies include analytical thinking, exceptional communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and technical proficiency. A degree in Business, Safety, or Criminal Justice is preferred. Must thrive in fast-paced environments with heavy travel.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (experience)
- Ability to travel 60%+ regionally (experience)
Responsibilities
- Partner with RVPs and field leaders to drive asset protection and safety strategies
- Serve as Incident Commander for critical events and ensure operational continuity
- Conduct store assessments, shrink audits, and safety compliance reviews
- Analyze data trends to identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Lead investigations on theft/fraud and build law enforcement partnerships
- Deliver training on safety, loss prevention, and injury reduction
