Role Overview
As Experience Leader (ELR), deliver exceptional leadership to drive pet parent satisfaction, uphold company values, and achieve financial results. Share responsibility for pet and people safety, daily operations, and store success in a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, interview, hire, coach associates; manage reviews, training, onboarding, and grievances; delegate tasks and ensure pet safety protocols.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), handle escalations, conduct services walks, and manage events/marketing.
- Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L metrics like shrink and labor; optimize scheduling, submit work orders, and leverage resources for growth.
Experience & Skills
Require 3-5 years retail leadership in customer-focused roles, full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and team empowerment essential.
