Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience, uphold company values, and achieve business results. Share responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and store financial outcomes in our vibrant Amherst location.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, interview, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, and recognition to boost engagement.
  • Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services like salon and training, ensure pet safety, and execute store events.
  • Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L metrics, manage expenses, and optimize operations with home office support.

Experience & Skills

Bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in a customer-focused setting. Full-time flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. Excel in computer skills, communication, and staying composed under pressure. Passion for pets and leadership sets you apart.

  • Ensure pet safety, conduct services walks, and handle emergencies like vet transports
