Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exemplary leadership to drive the pet parent experience through culture and strategy. Share responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and financial results. Lead with full-time flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in our vibrant Arlington store.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, and recognition to boost engagement.
  • Store Experience: Oversee services (salon, training, hotel, day camp), events, adoptions; ensure pet safety and resolve parent concerns.
  • Business Management: Drive sales, control shrink and expenses; collaborate on scheduling and P&L goals.

Experience & Skills

Bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in customer-focused settings. Excel in computer proficiency, communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and leadership is key—no advanced degree required, just proven results.

  • Manage store P&L including sales targets, shrink control, labor, and expenses
  • Ensure compliance with policies, pet safety, and conduct monthly services walks
