Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience, uphold company values, and achieve business results. This full-time role shares responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and store financial outcomes. Located in Bastrop, Texas, you'll lead with flexibility across evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, onboarding, and grievances; delegate tasks and ensure alignment with company priorities.
  • Store Experience: Oversee pet parent interactions, services (salon, training, hotel, day camp), live pet sales, adoptions, and events; conduct monthly services walks and respond to pet health issues.
  • Business Management: Drive sales, control shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store improvements and P&L targets.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in customer-focused settings, full availability, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and proven ability to lead teams to success are essential.
