Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exemplary leadership to drive pet parent experiences, uphold company values, and achieve business results. Share responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and financial outcomes in our vibrant Chicago store.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, recognition, and grievances; delegate tasks and ensure pet safety protocols.
  • Store Experience: Lead customer interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), handle escalations, conduct services walks, and manage events/marketing.
  • Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L, expenses, and shrink; optimize scheduling and productivity with services teams.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 3-5 years retail leadership experience, full availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and customer focus essential.
