Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience through culture and strategies. You'll share responsibility for team safety, pet health, daily operations, and financial results. This full-time role demands flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, focusing on people leadership, store experience, and business management.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, and recognition; address complaints and delegate tasks.
  • Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), ensure policy compliance, conduct monthly walks, and handle pet emergencies.
  • Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L metrics like shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store improvements.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in customer-focused settings, strong communication, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets, ability to multitask, and a commitment to safety are essential.
