Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exemplary leadership to drive the pet parent experience through culture and strategies. This full-time role shares responsibility for team safety, pet health, daily operations, and financial results in our Leesburg store. Lead with passion for pets and retail excellence.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, and recognition; delegate tasks and resolve grievances to build high-engagement teams.

Overall Store Experience

Oversee services like salon, training, hotel, and adoptions; handle pet parent concerns; ensure pet safety, conduct services walks, and manage store events/marketing.

Business Management

Drive sales, control shrink/P&L, manage expenses/labor; collaborate with services teams to achieve growth targets and operational efficiency.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 3-5 years retail leadership experience, full availability, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and customer focus required.
