Role Overview

The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience through culture and strategies. Shared responsibility for people/pet safety, daily task execution, and financial outcomes. This full-time role demands flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership: Recruit, interview, hire, coach associates; facilitate development, recognition, training, and succession planning. Delegate tasks, ensure pet safety, and communicate priorities.

Overall Store Experience: Lead associate/pet parent interactions; oversee services (salon, training, hotel, day camp), events, marketing, and adoptions. Maintain standards, conduct services walks, and handle pet health issues promptly.

Business Management: Drive sales, control shrink/P&L, manage labor/supplies, and leverage resources for store improvements.

Experience & Skills

Require 3-5 years retail leadership in customer-focused settings. Key skills: computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, passion for pets, and business acumen.
