Role Overview
Serve as the Experience Leader (ELR), delivering exceptional leadership to drive pet parent satisfaction, pet safety, and store performance. Share responsibility for team leadership, operational excellence, and financial results in a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, and recognition to boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), handle escalations, ensure pet health/safety, and lead events/marketing.
- Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L metrics like shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store improvements.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in customer-focused roles, full availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and leadership excellence required.
