Role Overview
The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience through culture and strategy. Share responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and financial results. This full-time role demands flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, and recognition to boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), ensure pet safety, and maintain store standards.
- Business Management: Drive sales, control shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store improvements.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 3-5 years in retail leadership or customer-focused roles. Key skills include strong communication, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. Prioritize pet safety and team empowerment.
