Role Overview
The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience through culture and strategy. Share responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and financial results in our vibrant Saratoga Springs store.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach associates; manage labor, training, onboarding, and recognition to boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), ensure policy compliance, and handle pet emergencies.
- Business Management: Drive sales, control shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store growth.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 3-5 years retail leadership in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Excel in communication, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets.
