Role Overview
The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience, uphold company values, and achieve targeted results. Share responsibility for pet and people safety, daily operations, and financial outcomes in our vibrant Timonium store.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, coach, mentor associates; manage labor, training, and recognition to boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), ensure pet health/safety, and execute events/marketing.
- Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L metrics like shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store improvements.
Experience & Skills
Bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in customer-focused settings. Excel in communication, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and full-time flexibility. Passion for pets and leadership is key.
