Role Overview
The Experience Leader (ELR) provides exceptional leadership to drive the pet parent experience, uphold company values, and achieve business results. Share responsibility for team safety, pet welfare, daily operations, and financial performance in our vibrant Winston-Salem store.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, training, onboarding, and recognition to boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, oversee services (salon, training, hotel, adoptions), ensure pet safety, and execute store events/marketing.
- Business Management: Drive sales, control P&L metrics like shrink and expenses, optimize scheduling, and leverage resources for store improvements.
Experience & Skills
Bring 3-5 years of retail leadership in a customer-focused setting. Excel in communication, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and full-time flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Passion for pets and leadership is key.
