Role Overview
As Category Manager in Strategic Sourcing, you'll lead indirect sourcing for categories like real estate and travel. Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to develop strategies, deliver savings, and boost productivity. Based at our Phoenix Home Office, expect 4 days in-office weekly for optimal teamwork, with one flex remote day.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes, analyzing bids for total cost optimization.
- Create unified category strategies with internal stakeholders.
- Execute negotiations for lowest total cost, mitigating risks like currency fluctuations.
- Manage indirect PO processes and critical supplier communications.
- Drive stakeholder alignment, process improvements, and professional development.
Experience & Skills
Requires Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years in retail strategic sourcing/procurement. Excel in project management, negotiation, advanced Excel, and senior-level communication. Thrive independently in dynamic hybrid settings, prioritizing workloads under tight deadlines with strong ethics and change mindset.
