Role Overview
As a Distribution Warehouse Forklift Operator (Reach Truck Driver), you'll operate powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, replenishing products and supporting seamless operations. Full-time shifts include four 10-hour weekdays (e.g., Mon-Thu 5am-3:30pm or 4pm-2:30am) or three 12-hour weekends (Fri-Sun 5am-5:30pm), with potential differentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach truck to transfer pallets from reserve to primary pick locations or dock lanes.
- Consolidate pallets using Fork Interleaving (FIN) at active areas.
- Resolve routine issues; escalate non-routine problems for guidance.
- Maintain safety while handling equipment like dock stockers and pushcarts.
- Adapt to 10-12 hour shifts in varying temperatures and noise.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level friendly with training provided. Ideal candidates have a passion for pets/people, high school diploma preferred, and can lift 50lbs, bend/twist, and follow instructions via headset. Comfort with long shifts and mechanical equipment required.
