Role Overview
As Distribution Warehouse Operations Manager in Groveport, Ohio, you'll be a key leader in our supply chain team, rotating across areas like order fill, replenishment, services, or fish warehouse. Drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment supporting PetSmart's retail network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supervisors overseeing teams of up to 30 associates in a behavior-based performance culture.
- Manage daily DC planning, operations, and workload balancing to hit production goals.
- Communicate goals, recognition, and priorities effectively to teams and senior leaders.
- Develop talent through performance tools, interviewing, and selection.
- Leverage software, data, and analytics to optimize metrics and proactively solve issues.
- Coach on safety, policies, and adaptability in changing conditions.
Experience & Skills
We're seeking leaders with 4-6 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passion for pets. Must handle 10-12 hour shifts, lift 50 pounds, operate equipment like reach trucks (with training), and thrive in varied temperatures/noise. Strong communication, analytics, and team-leading skills required for this full-time role.
