Role Overview
The District Leader North Minnesota provides strategic oversight for PetSmart stores in the region. This field position blends onsite store visits, travel, and remote work from home, focusing on team development, performance optimization, and business results. Report to the Regional Vice President while championing operational excellence and safety.
Field-Based Flexibility
Spend time traveling to stores, ensuring compliance and coaching teams, with home office days when not in the field. Expect periodic travel to Phoenix Home Office for alignment on company priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies using data analysis and benchmarking.
- Build partnerships with leadership, coaching associates on initiatives.
- Manage district P&L, inventory (WISE system), and safety standards.
- Foster high-potential talent through assessments and development programs.
- Communicate objectives, audit performance, and report to corporate.
- Represent PetSmart locally and adapt to changing business demands.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proactive leaders with multi-unit retail experience, P&L ownership, and strong analytical skills. Excel in coaching, change management, and community engagement. A catalytic approach—forward-thinking and solution-oriented—is essential for driving district success.
