Role Overview
As Lead Platform Owner, you'll spearhead eCommerce platform strategy using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Commercetools. Based in Phoenix, AZ (4 days in-office, 1 flex remote), report to Technology leadership. Full-time role demands 5+ years expertise in platform leadership, agile practices, and enterprise integrations to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design/implement platform initiatives: strategy, roadmap, prioritization, development, maintenance.
- Orchestrate pipelines: security, test automation; monitor vendor roadmaps.
- Optimize SAFe processes; track industry trends for recommendations.
- Clear roadblocks for scrum teams; partner with stakeholders for valuable products.
- Escalate incidents; act as SME on eCommerce technologies.
Experience & Skills
Require Bachelor’s in CS/MIS or equivalent + 5 years progressive experience. Must-have: SFCC/Commercetools development, CSS3/JS/GA, platform optimization (availability/scalability/security), system integrations (payments/APIs), roadmap leadership, operations support. SAFe, agile, troubleshooting expertise essential.

- 5+ years optimizing platforms for scalability, performance, security (experience)
- 5+ years configuring/integrating enterprise systems (payment gateways, APIs, middleware) (experience)
- 5+ years defining strategies, roadmaps, leading operations/support (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design/lead platform initiatives, strategy, roadmap, prioritization with managers/product owners/architects
- Manage pipeline orchestration, security, test automation; track vendor roadmaps
- Optimize processes, mature SAFe practices; monitor trends for roadmap insights
- Resolve roadblocks for product owners/scrum teams; collaborate with stakeholders for high-quality delivery
- Escalate operational incidents; serve as SME on domain technologies/trends
