Role Overview
PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and maintains a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role in Abbotsford, BC, involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and upholding our vision of superior pet experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Recommend health/wellness products and ensure pet safety.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
