Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Abingdon, MD location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and share wellness solutions.
- Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Recommend merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
- Follow all policies while participating in our inclusive culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work in wet/noisy pet environments. Passion for animals is key.
