Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Albuquerque, NM location, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person/phone/register.
• Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend health/wellness solutions, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments and moderate noise.
