Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Ancaster store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services while upholding PetSmart's vision for pet safety and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person and via phone.
• Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet/hairy environments with animals.
