Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Antioch, CA location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart's vision of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Ensure safe environments, report and transport sick/injured pets as needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products/services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, proficiency in computers, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
