Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Apex, NC salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes safe pet handling, salon operations, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced store setting. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products.
- Ensure pet safety, reporting issues and assisting with vet transport if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
