Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Asheboro, NC location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering top-notch salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart’s vision for pet safety, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person and via phone.
- Independently perform full bath/brush services per company standards.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise and live animals.
