Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Asheville, NC location, you'll engage pet parents and their dogs, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to a clean, welcoming store environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

Core Salon Duties

• Independently perform full bath/brush services per PetSmart standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Execute standalone services: nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.

Safety & Operations

• Complete Splash training and maintain pet safety protocols.
• Respond to sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
• Recommend products/services and assist other departments.
• Uphold store cleanliness and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computers, excellent communication, and schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays) essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, pet-filled environments.
