Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Augusta store, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services, and uphold pet safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet care while contributing to store cleanliness and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person and via phone.
- Identify and respond to sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
