Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Aurora, Ontario location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role focuses on safe, high-quality baths, brushes, and add-on services, ensuring positive experiences in a fast-paced salon environment. Share responsibility for store cleanliness and pet safety while recommending wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person and via phone.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and immediately address sick/injured pets.
• Recommend merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with live animals.
