Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Aurora, Colorado salon, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering top-tier bathing services while upholding PetSmart's vision. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and recommending wellness solutions. This entry-level role offers flexibility and rewards your love for animals.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), work in wet environments with pet hair and moderate noise. Exposure to live animals is common; reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations.
- Ensure safe environments; act on sick/injured pets.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend/sell merchandise/services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Seek candidates with pet passion, computer proficiency, pressure-handling, flexible schedules (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Depth perception and physical stamina essential.
