Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Aurora, Colorado salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role ensures positive experiences, upholds safety standards, and supports store operations in a fast-paced pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products.
- Ensure pet safety; respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
