Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers seeking entry-level opportunities in pet care. You'll deliver professional bathing services, ensure pet safety, and provide exceptional customer experiences in a dynamic retail environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-ins/outs, and manage salon reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and uphold safety for pets and associates.
• Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vets if needed.
• Assist across departments and participate in recognition programs.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, composure under pressure, and proficiency in computer apps. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in wet, noisy environments with live animals. Excellent verbal/written communication essential.
