Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Avon, Indiana salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes positive pet experiences, safety, and salon excellence. Complete Splash training to perform baths, brushes, nail trims, and more in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Independently execute full bath/brush menu and standalone services per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain safe environments, report sick/injured pets, and transport as needed.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Uphold store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
