Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and store support in a dynamic retail environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential amid moderate noise, wet conditions, pet hair, and lifting up to 50lbs (team lifts over 100lbs).

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Maintain safe environments, report sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.
• Follow policies, participate in recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail-orientation, and strong communication. Physical demands include standing, lifting, stooping, reaching, with exposure to animals, water, and noise. Depth perception and teamwork vital.
