Role Overview
PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a supportive retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and respond to sick/injured pets.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
- Follow all policies, embracing our culture of Belonging and Recognition.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, and work in wet/noisy pet environments. Passion for animals is essential.
