Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Barrie, Ontario location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions, merchandise, and services.
- Maintain cleanliness, monitor pet health, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
