Role Overview

The Pet Bather role combines hands-on pet care with exceptional customer service in our vibrant salon. You'll deliver professional bathing services, ensure pet safety, and enhance the pet parent experience. This entry-level position offers flexibility, development, and the chance to work with adorable animals daily in a supportive store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures, and recommend health solutions.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
• Identify sick/injured pets and arrange vet transport; assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and proficiency in computer apps. You must communicate effectively, stay composed under pressure, and be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet-filled, sometimes noisy/wet environment.
