Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and maintain safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with full training provided through PetSmart’s Splash program.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Ensure pet safety, identify sick/injured pets, and transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions and merchandise.
- Assist other departments and participate in company culture initiatives.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
