Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is the foundation of our grooming salon, delivering exceptional bath and brush services while ensuring pet safety and parent satisfaction. This entry-level position involves hands-on pet care, customer engagement, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full-service baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and sales at register.
• Monitor pet health, take action on sick/injured animals, and transport to vet as needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products/services.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
