Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Bayamon store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services while upholding PetSmart's vision of pet safety and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
- Maintain salon and store cleanliness; recommend wellness products.
- Ensure safe environment, respond to pet health issues, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
